Perched atop a cliff, Santa Caterina has an elevator that'll take you down to a private beach (or you can stroll down the paths past citrus groves and gardens). There you'll find a saltwater swimming pool, a sun deck, a gym, a cafe/bar, and an open-air restaurant. Built in 1880, the structure was destroyed by a rock slide on Christmas Eve 1902, prompting a rebuilding on a "safer" site in 1904. You're housed in the main structure or in one of the small "villas" in the citrus groves.
